Our Story

Happy Valley Art School provides professional art education for students ages 5–18. Our programs range from Creative Art Exploration and fundamental drawing and painting to advanced portfolio development for college applications. With structured curriculum and personalized instruction, students build strong technical skills, creative confidence, and artistic expression. Small class sizes ensure individual guidance and measurable growth. We nurture imagination while emphasizing discipline and craftsmanship, helping young artists develop their unique voice.

Courses

At Happy Valley Art School, we offer inspiring art programs for students ages 5–18 at every stage of their creative journey. Portfolio Development

Designed for dedicated students preparing for college applications, AP Art portfolios, and art competitions. Students create a cohesive body of original artwork that reflects their ideas, identity, and creative voice.

A fun and inspiring introduction to art for young creators. Students experiment with a variety of materials and techniques while developing imagination, confidence, and creative thinking.

Drawing and Painting

Build strong artistic foundations through drawing and painting. Students learn essential techniques such as observation, composition, shading, color theory, and brushwork while developing their personal artistic style.

Summer Camp

A fun and immersive art experience during the summer break. Students explore a variety of creative projects including drawing, painting, and mixed media while building artistic skills, imagination, and confidence.

Puppet Show Made and Performed all by Students!

Puppets made by the students. During Spring, we had a Creative Writing, Art and Theatre workshop. It was a 8-week workshop that required students to write scripts, design characters, building puppets, stages, props and and settings, and finally performed their own puppet show in front of the audience.
